To not want DD to have cold pizza in her packed lunch?

DH says it’s fine to put a slice of left over pizza in DD2’s packed lunch tomorrow. I say it’s disgusting. WIBU?

Sounds like an epic packed lunch to me,but I wouldn't pack it in school packed lunches as I'm too scared the Packed Lunch Police would come nee nawing up and tell me off

Yabu. Left over cold pizza is fit. Better than got pizza. In fact I am having left over pizza tomorrow for my lunch.

My teens will snaffle anything - cold pizza, cold pasta (with grated cheese on top), yesterday one took leftover rice with curry sauce on top (in a Pyrex dish!).
Except for Friday, they take nothing as the school canteen does cheesy chips that day.

I should be relieved that DD2 is eating anything She’s a very fussy eater and would live off nothing but sausages if we let her. She doesn’t like chips, cake, chocolate, most sweets

It's not congealed, its melted and solidified and it does that amazing poppy thing when you bite through it and it's all marinaded and delicious and yum.

My kids prefer cold pizza. Youngest sometimes has it in his packed lunch

It depends. My 2 used to take leftover pizza but it would be homemade so basically bread, cheese, passata, herbs and plenty of veg so as healthy as a sandwich imo.
If it's a congealed, grease ridden slice of Goodfellas/Dominos then I wouldn't.

I think it's disgusting - so I don't eat it.
Ds2 likes it, so makes extra pizza so he can have some for his lunchbox, has done so this evening in fact.

I'm more shocked at a can of Diet Coke being confiscated from a fully grown adult at a toddler group, though?! Really? Really?!

My main concern would be what your dd thinks. Cold food is fine, pizza is fine, but what do her friends eat, would she feel embarrassed to have a slice of pizza if they have sandwiches?

Also "Update: apparently he’s sending a little tub of garlic mayo for her dip it in." Is this going to make her breath smell of garlic all day? That would be my only concern!

I wouldn't personally as I think cold pizza is rank so I agree with you OP but looks like we are in the minority! As long as you think DD would eat it though that's the main thing.
