To not want DD to have cold pizza in her packed lunch?

DH says it’s fine to put a slice of left over pizza in DD2’s packed lunch tomorrow. I say it’s disgusting. WIBU?

I wouldn’t like it. But then again I can’t eat cold rice or pasta dishes but I like everything hot.

Cold pizza is a marvellous breakfast after a somewhat boozy evening.

Italian pizza is best when it’s fresh and hot, but is perfectly fine cold.

Dominos, Pizza Hut et al are better cold on the next day.

I think it's fine if she likes it. It's not quite the same, but mine isn't crazy about breakfast foods. She won't eat toast at all in any form. She'll eat some cereal but I hate the idea of feeding her nothing but cereal every morning. Eggs are hit and miss. She likes overnight chia oats (I know!), but not really porridge that's cooked. Anyway, sometimes I give her a small slice of leftover pizza from the day before and either carrot sticks or a piece of fruit. It's sort of gross for breakfast, but it's probably better than most cereals and at least has some protein and calcium in it and she gets a good serving of fruit or veg with it.

Cold left over pizza for lunch the next day is my main motivation for getting a takeaway pizza tbh.

Bread, cheese and tomato (and maybe other stuff), seems fine to me.

Never have I wanted a like button as much as for that comment. I am with you completely and think its awful. (Never caved on it in lunch boxes either - but did on them having it in the fridge the next day)
