I am a genius.
Normally struggle a bit to get dcs to eat fruit after dinner. Tonight instead of giving them a bowl each, as usual, i put one bowl in the middle of the table between them. Don't know why really, just couldn't be arsed washing up an extra one.
Result - natural competitiveness overrode antipathy to food containing vitamins. Both gobbled it down in double quick time, fighting for ownership of the bowl. 'Mummmm it's not fair, he took more than me.' 'His piece was bigger'.
Mwahahaaaa! I know how i'll be serving veg from now on...

Genius indeed!
Mine are generally quite good at eating fruit and veg. Sometimes when I am feeling generous (!) they get a starter and think it’s a massive treat. It’s just a bowl of veg sticks and maybe dip or hummus 😀

Wouldn't work with mine. DS1 is repulsed by anything that has been within sniffing distance of DS2.

Send them to my MIL

My dd now eats raw broccoli whilst waiting for it cook, cauliflower and raw carrots...Grin
