To ask for tips on not letting child grumpiness get to me

Dd is eight and a normal child brilliant most of the time. But like many children she can be so so grumpy and moody. And nearly all the grumpiness is directed at me as her mother. I expect moods to be more of an issue as she enters teenage years.

But I find them very hard to take personally. So aibu to ask for tips and advice on growing a thicker skin so I can help us both

My DS is the same but I have to say I find it funny. I don't take any of his rubbish and make sure if he is cheeky or rude he has something taken away (TV time, etc) but my DH and I have a good laugh in private about proper pouty grumpiness. Just go with the flow.
