I've just got back from a horrid wet school run after a week of being ill I still feel rubbish

My close friend has text to let me know that her amazing mum has been over for the weekend and cooked and that she (my friend) thought I could do with a night off from cooking and will be dropping my family dinner around this afternoon so I can pop my feet up and would I like red or white?

God I love this woman right now I could cry. Her mom cooks the most amazing food I've ever eaten its beautiful and a real treat to be having this turn up meaning I can have a rest before work tomorrow

What unexpected acts of kindness have you been on the receiving end of

Sounds lovely!

My neighbour took my dog for a walk yesterday because I am recovering from heart trouble and DH was out helping his mum who has flu.

She "saw that I might need a bit of help". She's lovely.
