*Boring* alert - how much do you pay for 1/2 head of foils ?

I’ve recently moved towns & have had to find a new hairdresser ( I hate having to entrust my hair to a stranger).

She did an ok job but my previous hairdressers did a fabulous job. Then she charged me £88 . I’m sure I have been paying £65.

Is this the going rate now ? I am in the South East as was my previous house.

Hair wash, dry and style, haircut and highlights costs me £70.

I'm in the Midlands though, and go to my local village hairdressers so that may be particularly cheap.

I am in the south east and pay £46 for half a head of foils. That's without a cut and blow dry.

Just had a cut and blow dry with a half head of foils on Thursday and it cost £65. Im in the south west.

Thanks - £88 wasn’t even with a blow dry . I left with wet hair !

Half head of highlights are between £50-£80 at my salon depending on the level of the hairdresser. However all colour appointments must also include a cut and finish which range between £40-£70 so for me it would cost £140

Yes, around £80 in London. Plus the trim, plus the blowdry. Comes to £120-£140 depending on length of hair and offers.

Am looking for a new place though because she cut my fringe so short last time I looked ridiculous.

I pay £30 for a full head of foils and a cut in SW, however, it's a mobile hairdresser, I rinse and wash myself and she never dries/styles it. She is lovely though and I have no idea what a salon would charge me. I was quoted £100+ a few years ago as I have long hair and 2-3 colours. I would never be able to afford that. Ever.

I have a mobile hairdresser who charges £60 for half head, hair cut and blow dry. In past I’ve paid £65-85 in a salon without a hair cut so mobile hairdressers are the best choice for me now.
