What are your go-to quick and easy meals?

Not jacket potatoes or eggs.

We are stuck in a reheated, batch cooked rut, frozen pizza etc and need some new ideas please.

Much like Fluffy's recipe we have a fish or chicken dish with 3 bought ingredients:

Chicken or fish
Tin of kidney beans, or any other you fancy
Tub of salsa - you can make this if you have time/inclination

Put the beans in an oven dish; put the fish/chicken on the beans; put the salsa on top; cover and bake.

Gallo saffron rice with smoked salmon.

Beef stroganoff
Another vote for baked salmon - only ever have that on working day as so fast
Bacon, pesto, cream (or Creme fraiche) garlic mixed through pasta
Steak and stir fry
Chicken fajitas or bean fajitas
All day breakfast
In summer - lots of hot crunchy bacon on top of dressed salad leaves

Most pasta esp carbonara, courgette & bacon etc

Quesadillas - with spring onion, cheese, cooked diced chicken, whatever you like

Stir fries - either cooked or raw chicken or pork strips or chunks plus a bag of stir fry veg ( or a mix of veg you like eg peppers spring onions pak choi etc) garlic ginger and chilli - I make my own stir fry sauce with soy, honey, sesame oil, sherry & cornflour. Serve w rice or noodles

Can do a bought sauce curry in the time too eg Spice Tailor etc.

My fave quick suppers the kids won’t eat so save for when it’s just us - mussels in Thai broth, scallops in chilli & ginger mmmmm
