Do patterned trousers on toddlers look like pyjamas?

2 people have commented on my DD's 'nice pyjamas' Blush
They're not PJs, they're patterned joggers (one pair blue with pandas, the other green velour with stars!) She also has a pair of Frugi snugs with a tartan pattern but nobody's said anything about those yet. She's 2.5.

What do others think? I'm mortified people think I take her out in her PJs!

Definitely.

As for the look, I think there comes a time where patterns look pyjamary and out of place. A friend with an ENORMOUS three year old still dresses him in patterns and he looks like a giant toddler!

Yes that's what I'm worried about! I don't want her to look like a giant baby. Or people thinking I couldn't be bothered to dress her.
