Having just watched my wife push out a 9lb 6oz human from through a tiny hole, enduring massive pain as there was no time for any proper pain meds (paracetamol and has and air was it) AIBU to think we men have no bloody idea about real pain? And subsequently the phrase shouldn’t be ‘man up’ but ‘woman up’?!

Also, how depressing to see the news surrounding the harassment at a men’s only ‘charity’ dinner on the day my brilliant wife brings our second amazing daughter into the world.

A friend said to me, “Hey you need to grow a pair. Grow a pair, Bro.” It’s when someone calls you weak, but they associate it with a lack of testicles. Which is weird, because testicles are the most sensitive things in the world. If you suddenly just grew a pair, you’d be a lot more vulnerable. If you want to be tough, you should lose a pair. If you want to be real tough, you should grow a vagina. Those things can take a pounding.
