Cotswold where?

Planning a 4 night family trip to Cotswold during Easter weekend .Unable to decide which village/town to stay.Bourton is unavailable.Was thinking of base at Cinecester and exploring Cotswold by car.

If you’re an NT member then Chedworth Roman Villa is well worth visit. It really blew my mind and such a beautiful setting.

Personally I’d look for somewhere to stay in Chipping Campden or Burford.

Stroud way if you like hills/woods and views...anywhere near minchinhampton or rodborough common/nympsfield etc. Cattle Country is good for kids, it's near Slimbridge and Woodchester Mansion is interesting and a bit eerie to visit if you time your visit with a time it's open.

We stayed in Blockley once which was great.

I love The Swan in Bibury but it was a coupley weekend and may not be so great with kids. The trout farm in Bibury is lovely though, I very much enjoyed feeding the trout.
