With all the information in the news about plastics and recycling I am guiltily looking at my coffee machine and the amount of pods I go through.
It seems there is no easy way to recycle them? Tassimo partner with TerraCycle but there is no recycling point near me so I have no option but to throw them into general waste.
AIBU to think that Tassimo should be made to make much more of an effort at getting their waste recycled? The costs of disposal will be met by councils, and the population, they can make the cost of production cheap - but those companies with a sustainable ethos are being financially burdoned by having to compete with those who are less responsible with packaging and waste.
I used to be awful at recycling but I am starting to become more aware.
*If anyone knows how I could easily recycle them please let me know!
