to want a trendy, comfortable adjustable bed - with no hard sell

DH has lymphedema so has to sleep with his foot up. We've spent years with a duvet under the mattress on his side, and me sleeping on a tilt! We need a new bed and I'd like to buy an adjustable one so he can raise the foot on his side independently. But I'm drawing a bit of a blank at finding something that is trendy rather than old-fashioned, and comfortable. I thought I'd found one company but when I read the reviews they were terrible; they clearly try to use high-pressure sales techniques ('if you agree now, we'll take 10% off' etc.), which I couldn't put up with. Does anyone have any experience and/or recommendations? I'd love to be able to sleep flat for once!!

Can’t you just go to a high street store but get a funky bed head?

None of the high street ones seem to have the medical type adjustability he needs.

What do you mean by 'trendy'?

I was in Westend Bed company in East Sheen the other day and they had very nice looking adjustable beds.

And these guys were great, we got a bed well under our budget, no hard sell.

Just seen this, I brought an adjustable bed for my parents just last month and was in exactly the same situ, I wanted the bed to look nice! I searched the internet for hours. I eventually found a company called Alpine HC which just met all my needs, good looking, reasonably priced and quick delivery time! The sales person was very helpful and could answer all my questions about the bed, definitely recommend. Find them here: Alpine HC
