To not want my boss to 'jokingly' try to pimp me out

I work in media/pr type business, just found out that at a recent event that I was not present at my boss was apparently trying to woo a new client and told this guy that he would arrange for me to go for a meal with him and do ‘whatever was required to seal the deal.’ Apparently this was after a few drinks and all said in jest but aibu to still be shocked by this? I’m quite new to the company and came from a very different industry so don’t know if i’m being oversensitive about this or not

The client is someone he has worked with before and knows quite well but I have only met him a couple of times.

Boss hasn’t mentioned it another colleague who was at the event told me about it but my boss is also his boss and there’s no way I can bring it up without putting him in an awkward position as being the one who told me.

If your boss had said 'I'm going to get Diva to meet with you to discuss the finer points and finalise the contract', I would have no problem with this but to say 'do whatever was required to seal the deal' is not on.
It may have been said in jest after a few drinks but who knows how this man may interpret this.
I would wait to see if you are asked to meet this client before saying anything but if you are and this is repeated again to you, I would be definitely saying something!

Totally reasonable to be shocked. I understand you not wanting to complain but it’s a shitty thing to do even in jest.

I believe it, the person who told me has so no reason to lie and he actually seems to be trying to minimise it now he realises I don't find it funny.

I don't think there is any plan for anyone to actually ask me to do this I think it was just supposed to be a joke

The trouble is, since you only heard about this via your colleague and you don't want to get him in trouble for telling you, you cannot approach the subjuect directly.

What about this? Fabricate some vaguely similar incident involving a previous boss saying something inappropriate about you or a female coworker, followed by you giving the previous boss a very big piece of your mind. Recount this fictitious incident in detail in your current boss' presence. That would leave him in no doubt about how you'd respond if you ever caught him making such "jokes" about you.

Inappropriate but I would act on it depending on the bigger picture of your boss' behaviour.
If he often makes similar comments, then yes I would find a time to call him out - maybe not using this as an example but if I knew he said crap like this regularly I'd just bide my time until the next one. If in all honesty you've not heard him make any similar sexist comments, I'd be more inclined to let it go but be wary in the future.
But either way in dealing with the client I'd be very professional and above board - just to establish some clear boundaries.

I don't think I am going to do anything for now, boss makes the odd comment but never really anything else that I've thought was that bad
