AIBU to think that women who refer to their clothes as "pieces" are twats Grin.

Note I am not fashionable in the slightest and I don't care.

It's a bit different if they are designer well not really but it's more acceptable than some tat they've bought in river island, boohoo, in the style etc

She looks completely ordinary to me.

WhatCanIDoNowPlease · 22/01/2018 10:43

Today, I am wearing a black legging worn down to the ankle, teamed with a stand out sweater from the George collection and a brown wedge boot.

I cannot get past this image to match your description!

Erm... not in the least bit ordinary! Laughably daft but not “ordinary”.

The first picture didn't seem very pigeon toed to me? Just one foot in front of the other. Second picture, yes.

Her clothes don't seem particularly stand-out for a fashion blog. But I am not a fashionable person.

I probably am being unreasonable as it's increasingly common, but it sets my teeth on edge when people refer to houses as 'property'. See "We're buying a property in Birmingham".

PossiblyPFB · 22/01/2018 11:28

I hate the expression “bang on trend” !!!! It winds me up unreasonably.

NancyDonahue · 22/01/2018 12:53

Dahlietta I'm with you there. Property can mean a anything, even a bloody garden shed. Describe it properly - It's house, flat, bungalow etc

While we're on the subject, I hate the word 'entertaining' on property shows... 'Oh what a great entertaining space!' Er... no, it's a big kitchen.

DwangelaForever · 22/01/2018 16:51

I love you people GrinGrin

Yanbu. That's that.

UsernameInvalid66 · 22/01/2018 17:21

Re the pigeon toed thing, a few years ago there was a band in our town whose bass player used to dance by jumping up and down while standing very pigeon-toed. The best bit was that every now and then he would look down, see that his toes were beginning to un-pigeon, and carefully turn them in a few degrees...

The fashion-speak thing that bugs me is when they call all jackets blazers. To me a blazer is a fairly specific shape and style.

Glittermakeseverythingbetter · 22/01/2018 17:30

Should one still wear a statement necklace with those leggings? Or are the leggings enough of a statement piece?
