to ask hairdresser to redo my roots?

My usual hairdresser is working reduced hours as she’s due to give birth in 3 wks.

I went to the same salon and had a more junior hairdresser today. My hair is dark brown with a fair smattering of grey. I mentioned how I wanted the grey covering as usual hairdresser does.

Grey still quite visible.

AIBU to call tomorrow and ask for another dye?

Totally not unreasonable at all, but I would pop in to the salon if you can so you can show them exactly what you mean.

I have had to do put on my big girl pants and say I wasn't happy with my hair a few times in the past. What made me to it was my dh reminding me how much money I had spent. They would always rather have a happy customer and repeat business than someone unhappy spreading the word about their poor service. Do it!!

Just pop in and say you've noticed quite a lot of grey and that's not normal - I'm sure they'll sort it free of charge

I had to go back about my dodgy highlights and they did it free of charge and apologised. Better that than lose a customer I think

I’ve called - they’re completely ok and will fit me in today to fix. Hurrah.

Good for you. My regular hairdresser refused to put right a similar error. I never used her after that as I was so disgusted after what I had paid - what I used to pay every eight weeks. her loss.
