AIBU to wonder about renting prices all around the UK?

Just being nosy really.
I rent in the south-east (Hampshire area) and it's expensive. My last place was a private rented 1 bed cluster house which set us back £700 a month!
Now in a council house, paying £490 for a 2 bed.

Often think about moving away from Hampshire, but would like an idea of what the prices are like elsewhere!

Small 2 bed house £1200pm

I rent out a 2 bed flat about a mile away from the city centre of Glasgow for £675 pcm.

We rent out a 3 bed/3 reception room Victorian terraced house for £750/month in Plymouth. Cheap for the Westcountry.

When we were buying before Christmas we kept an eye on rentals as things were constantly on the verge of going tits up. Anything from £750-1000 for a large 2 bed (equivalent to what we were selling) or 3 bed in our part of Durham. More than double what it would have been in the mining village 6 miles away, that we moved from.

Keep hold of that council tenancy for as long as it's suitable!

Used to be 1400 for tiny (barely) 3 bed terrace with an even tinier garden in Surrey.... our mortgage is less than the rent now (same area, same kind of house)
