Schumer was on maddow last night and it’s the first time I’ve seen her almost be forceful (it’s not the right word, but she wasn’t letting it drop). She was saying that she thought the dems might have emboldened the republicans who, now they’ve got a scalp in the form of the dem’s concession, would be even more entrenched in their positions and be less inclined to compromise.

I saw where she was coming from but sympathised with Schumer too.

Lweji, if I was a dreamer, I think I’d be a bit too scared to draw attention to my self by marching... couldn’t the authorities use such a march to identify and target people who they may otherwise not know the whereabouts of?
