When someone who is transgendered changes their outer appearance do they expect (if they have any) their children to change from Mum to day and vice versa?

Basically, when a man has children and changes his outer appearance to that of a stereotypical female (with or without surgery) does he also expect his children to switch from Dad to Mum? And the same question for those going from woman to man.

I’m just curious because I don’t think it would make sense to change the word but a lot of transgendered people need to feel confirmed by those around them so would they expect that to also change. Mum comes from mother which in my opinion, means the person who gave birth to or is of the same sex (when regards to adopting) of a person that gives birth and Dad, from father meaning the person who provided the seed. No real reason for the question other than I was thinking about it as I was laid down. That’s where my mind wandered today.

I don’t think it should change as it’s odd enough for the kids as it is but then maybe not changing would also be weird?
