Aibu to want a warm chunky cardigan that does up to cover my baby bump?

I NEED a cardigan or coat that doesn't make me look like I am wearing a tent that I can wear with a nice scarf and hat and will cover my huge bump.

I have grown out of my maternity coat already, I'm a size 14 normally, I tried a size 18-20 coat on and it drowns me at the shoulders

I just want to look like a 29 year old pregnant person on the school run. Not the big top from the local circus

Aibu?

Any ideas

Tia

I can’t help but wanted to say that I am shocked by how crap the affordable maternity clothes market is! I’m really struggling so feel your pain.

It's driving me mad! I'm sick of wearing my husband hoodies

Have you tried ASOS? Highstreet shopping is crap although I liked Peacocks the most

Do you know anyone that can knit?!

It’s the doing up that is so difficult to find, it’s all waterfall cardis. I had a really lovely warm chunky grey jumper from New Look. Also have a look on eBay as sometimes the more expensive brands have nice stuff that you can get second hand.

Like this www.newlook.com/uk/womens/clothing/knitwear/maternity-grey-longline-jumper/p/523086004?comp=PDP-Color-Swatch

It looks horrible but it was a lovely shape and v flattering

I used a chunky knit poncho.

Check out eBay and local maternity/nursing groups on Facebook. They often have selling pages and I have had some nice maternity and nursing clothes and bundles of baby grows etc for my lbs to top up the new clothes we were born.
My mil got me a nice cardigan from jojos but it wouldn't be thick enough for a coat. But worth a look.

Try the supermarkets online sites for maternity clothes, I found them a godsend when I was pregnant and wanted comfy, affordable basics. Also eBay was brilliant for getting some things that were a little more unusual or for a special occasion.

I got on from amazon! Love my, fleece lined grey hoody that does up over my bump and is nice and warm!
