Tonight DD 18 was babysitting for the next door neighbours (terraced house) discussing with the nextdoor Dad her plans to go inter-railing after her A levels and then afterwards meet her Dad and brother for a holiday. He says 'that will be quiet for your Mum' (we are divorced). She says, 'yeah I know we are quite noisy!' and he says 'Yes I know, mind you its sounds like you have a lot of fun!'

Is it unreasonable to be so noisy?

Shouting every conversation through the walls so your neighbours can hear you? Yes. Completely unnecessary and unreasonable.
I may call out for my kids to come and get dinner. (Trying to dish up and lay table.) That's it.
