AIBU and the only one who has a total girl crush on Holly Willoughby? Just had a quick browse through her Instagram account and she's just beautiful. 30 years old and happily married to a man for a few years. Please tell me I'm not the only one

I couldn't believe how high the slit of her dress was on Dancing on Ice on Sat, and with such a low neckline, contrasted with Philip in a regular smart suit. It highlights the chasm between what is expected of a male vs female presenter. I don't know how we can aim for true equality and a culture of mutual respect when Holly is serving up most of her boobs and baring the top of her thigh at a mainstream audience on a Saturday evening. It seems out of step with the #metoo climate.
It's not the outfit per se that bugs me, it's the context in which she's wearing it.

No ones life is like they instagram feed. I’m amazed people look at this and don’t see it for what it is. Whatever she does or does not get up to in her personal life...instagram is all about curating an image. People who buy into it are soft in the head. It’s amarketing and a sales conduit to your phone. That’s really all instagram is used for. I put a few pics up and just deluged with super annoying people “showcasing” their perfect lives (and trying subtly or not to sell me shit), it’s so annoying.

Some women I love. I actually think Emma Willis is great on Big Brother, and I also liked Fern Britton on this morning. And Alison who does the film interviews and is so warm and funny.

I also think a lot of men fall into the "look ok but pretty stupid" category too - would you like me to list them? Ant and Dec would be right at the top of the list.

I would be very disappointed to hear Emma Willis is anything but lovely. She seems like the sort of person who I could go down to the pub and have a laugh with.

Well poor Ant was addicted to Tramadol, Morphine and Alcohol which sounds quite a toxic combination. He was cute-ish when younger but the drugs and booze have really aged him recently.

See others will come on here and say why be a nasty gossip. But she is selling her private life with those pictures, selling her image with a picture everyday. When you do that you open yourself up to scrutiny. You can't just take the money and invite intrigue but complain when it's not all positive.

She has massively pushed herself lately with all those holiday snaps. Surely she has evough money without selling out her family life.

Stress can age you. Having the photographers following your every move must be very stressful. Ant needs to be left alone.

I'm not on instagram but Emma Willis takes private holidays and keeps her kids out of the media doesn't she? I know Holly hides their faces but she's still inviting interest by selling her family life.

I couldn’t see her as much of a role model for the dumbing down - I suspect to be that successful you have to be smart and lucky - the simpering girl next door thing is her product.

I hesitate though - Philip schofield is hardly a role model either and he attracts no attention, even women are conditioned to behave misogynistically to other women...

My test is I mentally strip the person of their fake tan/makeup/styling/professionally done hair and examine whether they would look pretty without that. She doesnt pass my test! 😁

Yes but that doesn't explain why the person/people posting the nasty comments, hold so much venom inside for someone they've never met and probably never will.

I can never get my head around it. It would be different if they were spending time being nasty about someone who has harmed them/their family.

But that's not the case, so the mind boggles.
