Tell me something positive that's happened on Blue Monday!

Blue Monday is meant to be crap for all, so let's inject it with a little positivity!

I'll start: I got lots of compliments for my newly-painted nails (blue of course!)

I got paid today so it's not so blue for me i i bought a new steam mop which I'm looking forward to trying

I quit my job.

Have been stressed for a whole year and unsupported by line managers. Nothing I did was ever good enough for one particular manager and after being signed off for 6 weeks I decided to fuck it. (There is a lot more to it but could be outing and the spouse of manager uses men)

I feel as though a weight has been lifted.

I have finally started to do my husband's accounts pre submitting self assessment.. I've been putting them in the 'too difficult box' for too long and finally made a start.. and realised it's not so bad!

I submitted an assignment I’ve been finding really tough. I painted my finger and toenails and had a bath without dd coming in to do her usual ‘massive pooh’. Bliss.

Look fantastic sent me an extra beauty box after I’d cancelled my subscription and when I contacted them to tell them, the said I could keep it!

I woke up happy and it continued all day.....no negative thoughts.....feeling positive....and genuinely feel great...

I tidied my house and collected my snazzy new glasses!

Weighed myself after first week of diet and I have lost 11 pounds.

Thought my parents had lost their beloved cat as he went out yesterday afternoon and never returned. This was most odd and unlike him.

We were all fretting and searching the nearby neighbourhood for him this afternoon.

Then this evening , around 6pm, my DM excitedly called me to say he had come home

We were all so happy; not least because the impact emotionally on my vulnerable elderly parents should he have not returned would have been huge.

Went to two groups today without getting stressed by toddler as he didn’t kick off once.

Ten month old now does proper belly laughs & it’s the most wonderous sound in the world.

It was a really good day but I’ve just ruined it by accidentally flicking out my fag in my glass of wine. 2018! Ruined

It's stopped raining

No I tell a lie, it's raining again.

These have really cheered me up, especially TooGood2BeFalse and Fruitbat! Fabulous.

Mine is that my 8 week old kittens are quite literally angels. I am potty about them.
