When you make a glass of water or squash, do you let the cold tap run for a few seconds before filling the glass, so that the water is nice and cold?

Dh says I'm being weird but I think the water comes out a bit room temperature at first and needs to run cold.

Of course. In our current place it can take more than 10 seconds for the water to run cold I some days.

Why does your DH think it’s weird? Cold drinks aren’t a new phenomenon.

Depends if it's a mixer tap or 2 individual ones. It also depends on the time of year ie. winter = no need.
