So it’s in DM that Ant’s filed for divorce. I know we only see what the press show us but from my point of view she’s been with him through her fertile years and now he’s gone off the rails and doesn’t want her anymore. I really hope he doesn’t hook up with someone else and manage to have children, not because he doesn’t deserve to have them, but when that happens it must be such a kick in the teeth.

I wish her love laughter and happiness without him.

Some of these posts are a bit patronising, as if Lisa is some pathetic, downtrodden wretch, rather than a make-up artist on the BBC's top show. Yes, I'm sad that she's sad. But she's no pitiful victim.

My assumption was that his addiction has just killed them. It happens. As people have said, we can never really know the truth, but I admit I was hoping they would get through this. It's a shame, it's a sad situation and you can only hope they come out the other side as unscathed as possible. Addiction kills so many relationships time and time again. Such a shame
