Why is the other thread closed?!? I was enjoying reading through it?!!

I will be interested to se if MoD's new teeth turn out to be gifted. If so, the time to say so is now - anything else would be disingenuous after her spiel about finding a dentist she can trust not to charge. Once again, It's a story, not a post, so will float off, unchallenged and unrecorded.

She’s paying for her veneers. I once jokingly said she was on the look out for dentist recs for free teeth and she slapped me down, saying she will pay as she did for her dermatologist treatment.

I’ve been following these threads with interest as I used to follow a lot of interiors accounts. I had to unfollow a lot of them as I became bored of all the same clobber being displayed. Thanks to these threads, it’s only just recently occured to me that they were gifted. I genuinely thought they were bought items, and I found myself wanting the same stuff because it was ‘endorsed’ by them. Now I know they were just freebies I’m quite pissed off at my gullability —not to mentioned the money I pissed away on shit I didn’t actually want—. It all started to make me feel a bit crap anyway... not only the girl gang stuff but also the fact I had no money compared to these women! And why didn’t I have a nice compliant husband who was happy to spend every weekend decorating / throw money on our house?! I think he’s relieved that I’m out of that phase now 😂

@HolyMountain - yes, I remember that exchange but I will be interested to see if she has. Once again, it doesn't matter either way - just how honest the disclosure is!

But anyway, I still follow some inspiring interiors and fashion bloggers but I’m very selective now. The slightest whiff of selling out and I unfollow. I still prefer the smaller, more niche accounts.

@flyingbird I can assure I meant no harm with my statement. If you thought it was patronising I do apologise. It's easy to misinterpret thing this. I suppose it's all down to how individuals decode msgs. Anyway I didn't mean any disrespect by what I said, I was just concious of the littlest things that has gotten this thread shut down in the past. Just looked at laura fantacci s posts , so much stuff from channel, never an #ad or #gifted, surely all those beauty products and clothes are gifted???

Laura Fantacci has had four holidays this year: a long haul holiday to Australia, a ski trip abroad, an Easter holiday in Italy, and a weekend in the country. She must have some serious money behind her for that. Nevertheless, her disclosure is appalling and more photos of her daughters are making their way onto her feed and stories.

There are no disclosures at all on her account you are right. Pictures of her dd school friends too!

Laura Fantacci has been a fashion blogger for about 10 years. She worked in fashion editorial before that, she has an amazing wardrobe, mostly designer and always has.

Her family are Italian so she holidays over there quite a bit. She's always posted pics of her kids, but not many.

Yes, I know what her background is, Sofia. It has been speculated on these threads that her online magazine is just a personal wardrobe building venture. I'd say she believes it is a legitimate business that she works hard at.

I also know she is Italian and holidays with her family, but her family don't live in Australia, the Italian Alps or the Hampshire countryside.

I've also been following her for sometime and know she used to post the odd anonymous photo of her daughters. As I mentioned, the number of photos are increasing and there are also more photos that aren't anonymous.

Why do you feel none of us know the anything about the topic we are discussing, Sofia?

Totally agree madamegrizzly, her weekend at wilderness in Suffolk was totally an undeclared gift!

example, from the pictures
She has posted. Why would anyone do that?

I wasn't sure what you were getting at with your post. I followed her WIT blog for years and she already had a wardrobe worth a fortune years ago. I assumed she got freebies and huge discounts through her magazine work contacts.

I get the impression her and her husband were already quite wealthy.

I don't think her disclosure is any worse than similar bloggers.

Because quite a few posters on here have openly said they don't or didn't follow many of the bloggers that have bern mentioned on the threads. I don't think looking someone up on insta and having a look through their account gives a true picture of the person.

@sofialemon posters have in the past not followed people, that you have mentioned. Reality stars and the like. As a general discussion the 'instamums' discussed are well followed or known.
I'm confused by your contributions at times because you state you have no issue with hidden ads or use of children then bring in other accounts that you state should be included in discussion yet you disagree with why they are being discussed. And to say looking them up doesn't give a true picture reverts back to your old arguments demanding answers about some accounts when they weren't being followed so how can people comment? Then people have a look and comment and it's not valid because they haven't been following them.
Like MOD's account there's very little of her kids on the squares but her disclosure is non existent. (Laura) MOD's disclosure is better.
@farfallarocks I think that is exactly what he goes for, his account is generally them looking bewildered. In this photo she looks really unhappy, and posing for a pic? To me it is not safe. And I know people will say it's not staged or it is staged and he had someone ready to catch, but he is stating it's when he's alone on child care...

I don’t follow FOD and hadn’t heard of him until these threads but it doesn’t take more than a look to see he uses the children to
build a feed and trades on the bumbling character which includes some unsafe-looking poses

It’s fine for people to comment even if they haven’t followed for years - after all all the feed is there to see
