AIBU to still have hope? Bleeding at 5 weeks pregnant :(

I got my BFP on Monday and since then have had more and more pregnancy symptoms, including sore boobs, nausea, feeling exhausted (went to sleep at 8pm last night!) and needing to wee about 10 times a day! However, unfortunately I have also had pink spotting, which this morning has progressed into splotches of red blood :( (it's Friday morning where I am and I'm 5 weeks tomorrow.)

I have already had 2 MCs, both at 6 weeks although one was an MMC and I didn't find out until 8 weeks, and am so desperate to hold on to this little one. Honestly, do you think I should give up hope? I had bloods taken on Monday and am going for another blood test today to see if my HCG levels have been rising, but should I expect that the results will be negative? Please help, I'm scared :(

Keeping everything crossed for you, I have had 9 miscarriages and one beautiful daughter. With my daughter I bled until 14 weeks. However, with her I went on bed rest with any bleeding. It seems to have worked. There is no guarantee but your not out until it’s definitely all overs rest as much as you can. Everything crossed for you that you have a healthy pregnancy on the way.

I had bleeding with my second pregnancy.

The result of that pregnancy will be 40 in May.

Care in pregnancy is far greater than it was in 1978 when I had my son.

Can I ask those of you who have had bleeding, how much have you had?
At around 4/5 weeks I had very heavy bleeding - soaking through knickers bleeding (obviously unexpected and wasn't wearing a pad) It lasted a day or so but early pregnancy unit detected a little heartbeat in my little (sesame seed size) embryo!! All was ok!

Oh OP you poor thing. I’ve been where you are right now 3 times and it’s the worst ad most heartbreaking feeling in the world Sad my friend suffered 4 M/C before having her LB and I had a healthy second pregnancy with DD (now 4) I did bleed with her though at around 6/7 weeks.

Hi, I just wanted some advice. I found out I was pregnant 3 weeks ago and went last week for a early scan as I have had a ectopic and miscarriage previously. The scan last week they couldn't see anything in uterus but thought they saw something on the left ovary. I went back yesterday for another scan and still couldn't see anything, I have another scan next Monday. But have been having light bleeding today , dark brown/ dark red blood and sickness and diarrhoea (sorry tmi). My last miscarriage was removed surgically. Does this sound like a miscarriage. Thanks

Back story, I’ve had pregnancy symptoms for 3 weeks, and on April 30th as soon as I woke up something just told me like hey go take a pregnancy test, so that’s what I did. The test line showed up immediately before the control line even though it was nowhere near as dark as the control line it was very obvious a positive line was visible. This same day, my boyfriend picked me up and I had told him everything before hand, he pretty much already believed I was pregnant before I got the positive. And so did I. But this same day, my boyfriend and I had sex, and probably 2 hours after just watching movies, I noticed I felt extremely weak, and fatigue.. like it was insanely scaring. I had a feeling like my body was so weak that it was somehow a sign of death, (obviously that’s me freaking out). But May 1st, 1pm I went to wipe, and there was red blood on the tissue. It was light. Very light. The bleeding stopped around 3pm, But I had put a pad on just to be cautious as I was very scared. I noticed the blood never touched my pad, and was only there when I wiped, or when I peed some blood would fall out in a clot like form. I took a shower that night, and saw something just running down my leg, it was red blood, there was nothing in it, no clots or anything.. it was just empty blood running from my leg, and so I immediately cleaned up and dried off and went straight to my bed, where I was then noticing I was having insanely bad cramps in both my lower right abdomen and then it switched to my lower left. Ever since this, I’ve had tiny tiny small clots like just 2 dots everytime I’ve used the bathroom, and the rest has kind of been like clear discharge that comes out with the blood. There hasn’t been any huge clots or anything, the blood has varied from dark red, bright red, light brown, to pink.. and it hasn’t touched my pad any, but when I wipe it comes out, and when I urinate, the blood comes out in that form like there’s clear discharge and strings with it and I’ve tried to look at it every time it happens but it just goes into the toilet bowl... (tmi im very sorry).
It’s now May 4th I haven’t been out of bed yet as it’s 11am. I’m very scared guys.. I’m not sure if this is a miscarriage, if it’s a hemorrhage, or what.. I don’t feel like this is a miscarriage, just because the blood is not bad at all and I haven’t found anything in my blood but tiny and small clots, and strings..
if someone could please give an input or advice, that would be greatly appreciated,

Roselyn and Kirst it's likely people on this thread will be commenting on the previous poster's problem.

However I've had two miscarriages and yes bleeding started small and grew.

I know some people bleed during pregnancy and are ok but you must insist on getting it checked out with your midwife.

Sadly a huge huge number of pregnancies end this way, more than people ever talk about.
