Why am I bleeding?

Can anyone help? I finished my period on New Year’s Day and today I had a bit of bright pink bleeding. I woke up with lower back pain which I can’t account for.
Is it possible I’m pregnant? My husband had a vasectomy which I know isn’t always fullproof so I’m freaking out!

Ah. Yes it's probably not the menopause then.

Could it be a kidney infection?

I would say at 26 it's most likely to be hormonal. I'm only a couple of years older than you and that's what mine turned out to be.

Please don't try and self-diagnose yourself online. The symptoms of cervical cancer are also the symptoms of so many other things - hormonal imbalances, STI's, infection, polyps, fibroids, endometriosis and PCOS.

Go and get a professional diagnosis Flowers

I know lol. I’m trying but this new system means you have to wait to see a doctor. And I’m stressing.

I had this a couple of years ago and was in a panic

I was sent for a pelvic scan and swabs and all came back fine

It settled down shortly after. You’re so young as well, get it checked out plus have a smear obviously. but I’m sure it’s nothing to worry about.

Ps like you I was scared to have a smear, I only had one at 28 because of that poor jade goody who died 😢. It was honestly fine and I’ve had them ever since.

Thanks everyone. I guess I’ll just have to wait and see.
