Link to previous thread.

Landlord ended up getting involved in November. Council and RSPCA couldn’t do anything. Things were quiet for the whole of December...threats from Landlord plus being at home for Christmas.

Week one of life being back to normal after the holidays and bang! 10am til present. Dog locked in bathroom, barking EVERY SINGLE SECOND.

First day off after a busy week back at home...I just want some peace!!

Video the dog barking and post it everywhere. Social media, council Facebook, Twitter. Hell send it to your local news.

Hate to resurrect a Zombie post but...

THEY JUST MOVED OUT!!!!!!!!!!

No. More. Barking.

YAY!!! Nice glass of wine enjoying the peace 😁

JustLikeBefore · 30/06/2018 15:56

interestingly I remember this thread when I saw a news thing on my phone, about a man prosecuted for leaving his dog barking all day.

I thought it was going an update, that it was your neighbour.

Will see if I can find the story.

Wine and peace and quiet for you outgrown

Whoop whoop!! Very happy for you OP. I’m hoping my barking neighbor’s owner decides to move too.

JustLikeBefore · 30/06/2018 16:10

God OP - did the dog bark all this time? Such a relief for you today.

Did they take it with them? Sad to think of the dog being boxed up again, just in another location.

ZibbidooZibbidooZibbidoo · 30/06/2018 16:42

Thanks just! Have already involved the council, may get back onto them if no improvement .

outgrown · 30/06/2018 17:27

Yep. Exactly the same until midnight last night.

We've had the council recording and the local councillors have visited my house and heard it. It's been horrendous. It's such a relief!!

But yeah. Poor dog. It won't change for him Sad

Poor dog. Sad

DoinItForTheKids · 30/06/2018 18:51

Yes, poor dog exactly. What a boring, miserable life!

Makes a mockery of the absolutely detailed pre-checks and criteria the RSPCA and other dog rescue organisations stipulate before you can adopt a dog doesn't it; how hypocritical that they demand the highest standards for adopters, but leave ill-treated, poorly cared for non rescue centre dogs like this.

So glad for you OP that it's sorted. What a bloody relief.

liverbird10 · 30/06/2018 19:14

Maybe I'm an ageing "snowflake" , but I find this really upsetting. Animal abuse infuriates me. I don't understand why the RSPCA can't help the poor dog. Sad

DoinItForTheKids · 30/06/2018 19:22

The RSPCA I understand are not what they used to be. Clearly.

I agree with you liverbird - it's completely unacceptable.

Puppy farms aren't ok - leaving a dog on it's own for over 8 hours a day is ok.
