To not know whether Love, Lies and Records is finished or not?

You know that feeling of completion you get at the end of a series and you just KNOW its the end of the series?

Well i had to check to see if id watched the end of Cold Feet and now I dont know if Love, Lies and Records is finished.

Is it just me? And is it finished?

Is a new genre, leaving the end all low key with no particular conclusion?

It is finished but yes I agree it was underwhelming

Jeds55 · 05/01/2018 09:57

I found the main character so obnoxious. Thought they'd left it that way for a second series (that I won't be watching).

peachypetite · 05/01/2018 09:58

Me too!

etap · 05/01/2018 10:37

Never known a series where I genuinely dislike everyone character but I couldn't stop watching it, hehe.

origamiwarrior · 05/01/2018 10:39

Ditto me - for Cold Feet and Love Lies Records!

CoolBag · 05/01/2018 10:39

It was truly awful. Unlikeable characters and ludicrous plot lines.
watched it all though

GinisLife · 05/01/2018 11:05

I liked it but the last episode was a bit underwhelming as an ending.

ferriswheel · 05/01/2018 14:15

Yes, i agree with all of you.

So, what happened in the end? The annoying office guy drove off and the annoying office boss phoned and said she missed him? And the police officer fancied the other police officer? Really? Thats it?

Think it’s was setting the premise for a second series. Hope so, I love kay mellor dramas

ferriswheel · 05/01/2018 20:43

Yeah, usually i love them too, but this one was a bit meh. I kept waiting for it to start to get stuck into it. The thing i usually love is that there is usually a really satisfying conclusion.

Kay Mellors new one started already. I enjoyed Love lies and Records, not the ending so much.

ferriswheel · 05/01/2018 21:27

Is the new one that Girls one on itv?

PinkAvocado · 05/01/2018 21:29

I felt underwhelmed too. And also with that police cold case drama...beginning with B...Bancroft maybe?

ferriswheel · 05/01/2018 21:31

Yeah, is it a new style of drama, leaving it all hanging? Id like a new story with the angry lady as the main feature and the police officer husband.

Sweetpea55 · 05/01/2018 21:34

Bancroft left me dangling. I like tidy endings.

PinkAvocado · 05/01/2018 21:34

When I read books like that, I feel really angry hat I’ve wasted my time on them and tv is starting to equally annoy me!

Tistheseason17 · 05/01/2018 22:15

Yeah, I had to check it had ended, too.
Watched Derry Girls, silly funny.

Tippz · 05/01/2018 22:16

Oddly, I wondered that too.

How did it end?!

AlmaCogansFrockFan · 05/01/2018 22:30

I wondered as well if I'd missed a further episode and checked the tv schedules, but no, that was it!

BlueNeighbourhood1 · 05/01/2018 22:31

It was good in the beginning but sort of petered out. I expected the final episode to go with a bang and nope, nothing

babigailwabble · 05/01/2018 22:35

It was so rubbish I couldn't even be bothered to press play on last episode.

RoseWhiteTips · 05/01/2018 22:41

Absolute garbage but I still watched it. I HATED all the main characters except the one who sent the sex tape.
I particularly hated the woman played by Ashley Jenson who has got to be the most annoying actor ever.

endofthelinefinally · 15/01/2018 07:37

I missed a couple of episodes and it isn't on Iplayer any more.
