At the moment, these are the things that are really peeing me off:

Remote controls- we have 3 and a simple task like turning the tv on can be a huge mission- standby/waking up/source/HDMI. Aaarrrgghh..i just want on/off!

Lurpak spreadable- they have lied! It does not spread, it rolls across the bread! Aaarrrggghh!

And don't even get me started on the wind..😂

Anyone else hate 'things'?

Mission EVERY SINGLE ONE of my kitchen unit door handles does that. I fucking hate my kitchen door handles. And I also hate the rein straps on my babies highchairs because they're always covered in cauliflower cheese/baked beans /bolignese but when I try to remove them it takes about ten years and they won't thread through the fucking chair.

I'm amazed and saddened how many of you are putting up with easily fixable kitchen based trauma. No handle - add a handle. Door opens wrong way - turn it round.

I hate curtain rails. For some reason the house didn't have any when we bought it. The bastard thing in my bedroom won't stay up no matter what I do. Gave up and hung a blind. The one in DS room fell down twice before I gave in and glued the damn thing up with no more nails. It's held up by hope and will surely collapse if DS ever pulls on a curtain. The one in the lounge is balanced precariously on ancient nails from the previous occupants. I shut the curtains in fear and trepidation.

There are 3 more windows but no more curtain rails in my house - after the bedroom debacle, which cracked a lovely big gash in the plaster, I lost the will entirely. The next house we buy I will be looking very closely at the curtain rails before making an offer Grin

Bastard things!

@wildbuttercup Yes nothing falls off and they’re really thin. You can get them in bulk online or in Primark, Home Bargains etc. Over the space of several years I replaced all my hangers with them.

Re - the washing machine drawer: stop using softener. The mould goes away, and if it was doing that to the drawer, imagine what it was doing to your clothes...

Curtain rails, toilet roll holder, and door handles are all bastards.

Loo seats. Always come adrift eventually, leading to unscheduled sideways sliding , or they get revolting gunk under the hinges.

Bras. Or more specifically the fucking straps. Never the right length. Can't do it up; reach round the back or put it on back to front and wiggle it round?? Am I the only one that struggles???
