To think the fireworks go on too long?

When I was a kid you'd watch Big Ben chime 12 then it would be everyone singing auld lang syne and a big group hug. Now the bloody fireworks go on for like 15 minutes (gets boring after a while) and only then auld lang syne. It's just not the same!

And yet more abuse instead of a rational, articulate viewpoint. Happy New Year 'love'

Can I just point out that there are also other countries who can ill afford fireworks.

We also are forgetting how much tourism New Year’s Eve brings to London and therefore funding the economy.

In an ideal world no one would be homeless- and I say this as someone who was homeless. The reality is I highly doubt in my lifetime homelessness will be completely remedied, as hard and sad as that is.
