To still feel proud even though I didn't stick to my NY resolution 2017 (triggering)

I posted this time last year (under a different name). I have suffered from bulimia and MH problems for a young teen. Last NYC I posted and said I was going to go a full year without making myself purge.

It started well but I ended up making myself sick about 7 months into the year. I had a lot of stress going on. I was very disappointed but did actually keep a tally of how many times I did this. I have looked at my tally chart and the number is...3! From purging everyday for years and years, to just 3 times a year. I want to make this ZERO times next year. But I'd say this is a huge improvement Smile

AIBU to still feel proud even though I broke my resolution?

The very definition of success is how you deal with failure. You faltered and then, instead of giving up, got straight back on it. Very well done, you should be very proud of yourself. I hope it's all easier in 2018 for you Grin
