Mine are

  1. to focus more on being healthy and taking care of myself.
  2. start the research for my book
  3. be more organised ( can anyone recommend an organiser app or something?)

What are yours? Or anything you'd like to change next year?

To start a bullet journal and use it every single day.

And dry January.

Those are the only two - I think no. 1 if used properly will help me achieve a ton of other stuff.

  • Buy less/stop wasting money

BusterGonad · 01/01/2018 15:17

I don't make them as stated up thread BUT I suppose I'm hoping to not be anxious so much and not worry about things unless they actually happen! Iyswim

To stay off Facebook unless I am going on for a specific purpose eg to go on a local group to find a local tradesperson.

  1. No alcohol and sweets in January
  2. I want to get so fit that I'll do an amazing time at the triathlon in August (already registered).

Do Dry January
Lose a stone
Get laid

Probably in that order. Last one optional.

Use less plastic, I was sickened by that blue planet program and am determined to cut out buying coffees, bottled waters, and food in too much packaging.

I'm carrying over the ....lose the tum....exercise more.....be a better person....cut down the wine....plant more flowers....be vigilant about birthday cards.... from previous years

GlitterBurps · 01/01/2018 23:19

Lose the baby weight.
Stop drinking so much wine and replace with water.
Don’t sweat the small stuff and cut DH some slack.
Make time for some ‘me’ time without feeling guilty.
Make more effort with friendships.
Declutter current house prior to moving.
Meal planning.

sarahC40 · 02/01/2018 00:04

To stop trying to solve everyone’s problems
To concentrate on me and my health
To accept that my sons have to take more responsibility for themselves and that I am a loving and loyal backstop
To be positive
To live a bit more in the day....

After this evening’s row, 1&2 are imperative, 3 is essential, 4 is almost out of sight...happy fucking new year to me.

shouldnthavesaid · 02/01/2018 00:21
  1. To slow down my mind by trying deliberately slow actions and movements like tai chi etc

  2. To try swimming again

  3. To buy a food I'm less familiar with each week. Week 1 is lentils .. going to make lental lasagne.

HunterofStars · 02/01/2018 00:40
  1. Eat less processed food and use my slow cooker more regularly.
  2. Drink more water.
  3. Declutter my house, I have way too much stuff.
  4. Read more books instead of being on the internet.
  5. Spend more time outdoors, instead of slumping in front of the telly.
  6. Work on self-love.
  7. Moisturise my skin every day.
  8. Visit London.
  9. Complete the first book in the series of books that I am writing for children. I've been working on these for 18 years this year.
10. Go on holiday hopefully.

To go to bed earlier and get a better night's sleep. This is not a good start (checking the time).
