This whole i cloud thing. Do I need a particular type of computer or account? And does it cost money. I am desperate to find somewhere safe to put my baby photos and I can't afford to spend extra money on an extra account. I do have a couple of pen drives but am aware they could get damaged.

Is there a way of sending large files with short movies or loads of pictures for free?

Does people seek you out on instagram? Or could it be quite private?

There was something else I was going to ask but I can't think of it just now. Can anyone help?

tia

So is Dropbox basically the same as i cloud? And if I do i cloud is it going to take ages and ages? I have an old laptop. Sorry for such basic questions but I really don't have a clue.

Sign up to Microsoft Office 365, i.e. create yourself an email account such as [email protected] and you get a cloud account with an allocation of storage called OneDrive. It's all free.

Oh really? Thanks. So if I have a hotmail account then is that the same as outlook? It looks like outlook these days. I will go and have a look that would be very handy.

Do I/Should I still store photos onto pendrives myself?

Is it the same as facebook and other social media where the photos don't belong to me anymore?

And my other question was...I am interested in listening to audio books. Loads of posters have been really raving about them lately. Is there are best way of doing this?

Sorry for all the questions but like I say I really don't know.
