If you have three children what sex was each in order?

I have two and had two girls, I'm curious as to whether many people have two of the same sex and then one of the other.

Currently considering having a third but wondering how it would change the dynamics if baby was a boy so should I stick to two.

Disclaimer - not an AIBU but more people read this section.

My dad is one of 8: girl, boy, boy, boy, girl, boy, girl, girl

Don't think you can plan which gender in that way

I think it’s quite interesting particularly when some people have GGGGGB or the reverse.

g g g g g all born within 6 years and 20 days.

I had a number of recurrent miscarriages when I thought I was were undergoing fertility investigations at the time and a polyp in my womb was causing the early miscarriages. I do wonder that their gender would have been.

Autumnboys. I have 3 boys too and had a similar experience. I am so happy with my boys but people do seem to be quite negative about the fact they are all boys. I constantly have 'are you going to try for a girl next?!'

It's not 50/50 when you're on to number three apparently. It's more like 60/40 in favour of what you already have because it takes into account any potential issues you might have in carrying a certain sex or any genetic conditions which impact on one sex only.

But I cannot begin to tell you what a pain it was when everyone - just everyone - commiserated with me on not getting a boy. Grrrrr! I ceased to be polite in the end!
