If you have three children what sex was each in order?

I have two and had two girls, I'm curious as to whether many people have two of the same sex and then one of the other.

Currently considering having a third but wondering how it would change the dynamics if baby was a boy so should I stick to two.

We have BGB (and then another B). 15 month gap between first two, then 2 yrs and 2 yrs.

I got really fed up with being asked why I was bothering to have a third when we already had one of each

I have a boy and a girl but Am one of 3 and it was Boy girl girl.

So basically no pattern

3 boys.
2 16 months apart then a 4.5yr gap

Not that we’d have another but my DH is convinced it would be a girl.

Girl, Girl, Boy all within 6 years. Presumed we'd have another girl but were utterly delighted to have a boy.

I adore my 3 DDs, and can't imagine how our family dynamic would have been with one of each as I think we'd have stopped there. My first grandchild was a boy, and I sobbed my heart out holding him for the first time - a very bittersweet moment. My DD was lovely and gave him her little brothers name as his middle name.

Isn't there something about once you've had one, you're statistically slightly more likely to have another child of the same sex than a child of the different sex?

I'm sure I read that on mumsnet somewhere.

I remember reading a study when I was pregnant with my third and it said that if you have two boys you are slightly more likely to have a third but it wasn't statistically significant.
I had BBG, I am one of GGB.
Of the people I know with three:
GBG, BGB, GBB, BBG, GBG, BBB, BBB, BBG!

I only have one (and one cooking, gender tbc) but was just thinking about everyone I know who has had 3 or more with the same partner and I get:

I did once read that if you have 2 of the same gender with the same partner you are statistically more likely to keep having the same gender for all subsequent children. But even if the balance is tipped a little it could still be either of course.

This has made me so keen to find out the sex of mine!!
