Nothing wrong with sprouts. I don't do bubble and squeak but I have made a rather tasty Brussel sprout and Wensleydale soup

I have done it, they're not so very different from cabbage after all! Probably wouldn't work if they were overcooked in the first place though.

I even cooked extra sprouts to put in mine today, it was delicious 😋

It's wrong. Bubble and squeak needs actual cabbage, preferably savoy. I like sprouts but they have their place. I was once offered b & s with broccoli; that was even more wrong than sprouts.

Love them. We make a cross between bubble & squeak and toad in the hole.
Everything chopped up, yorkshire batter poured over, in the oven. Love it.
