OH Wants a dog ....

I don't! He works away a lot and I also work, we have 1DC.

I don't want a dog, I don't want the tie of a dog.

How can I tell OH this is a bad idea.

He even said "you can look after it when I am away" - errrrr NO!

My other half would love a dog, but he knows we don't have a lifestyle to fit, I borrow my daughter's dog if we need a dog fix

We now have a quiet unassuming dog, but our last one was hard work. Poor recall, quite feisty.
Has he also considered the costs involved? Vets bills, food, maybe a dog walker during the day when you're both working?
