To tell you I'm thinking of you?

Today is my due date, I lost the baby in May and it was actually a partial mole so the baby had been growing normally but the placenta was like a tumour. I feel so shitty today, I've just started my first period since I lost the pregnancy today. And my sil Just texted to say that she's pregnant.

So here is my thread to say I'm thinking of you if you should have a baby now and don't or if you desperately want one and are overwhelmed with baby announcements.

Merry Christmas, be kind to yourself and I hope next year is a better one xxxx

Graphista · 25/12/2017 12:11

Flowers god that's tough, did sil know it was your due date?

You will get better at coping in the future (not the same as "it gets easier" because it doesn't of course)

Not significant for me date wise just Xmas is a poignant time, my eldest would be 26 now and the twins 17. Still wonder what if.

Thinking of you and lots of hugs. We are infertile and out of goes on the NHS. It is still painful to hear pregnancy news. But we are stronger than we think and we will get through this. Flowers

Thinking of you all. I had a miscarriage in August 2016 which coincided with ex h leaving me. I am going thinking the ‘what ifs’ today.

Love to you all Flowers

That’s so sad, OP. Thinking of you, and thank you for the sentiment as well. I’m one of the hopeful ones - menopausal at 37, only hope is donor eggs, and I’m terrified about what lies ahead (even if we can find a donor, which is unlikely).

Maybe this time next year some of us will have our dreams come true?

Thinking of everyone who has lost a baby - it’s an extra painful time of year x

MamaBearto2 · 25/12/2017 12:39

Thinking of you ❤️ this is our first Christmas after losing our DD. She would have been 6 months today. Stay strong OP xx

Fluffyear · 25/12/2017 12:41

So sorry op. Miscarriage is just so shit. People who haven’t experienced it have no idea how hurtful an announcement can be.

I had to go back into work with 5 pregnant colleagues whilst I was bleeding after 12 weeks of pregnancy. I still look at a colleague differently when she knew about my loss and still had to tell me how hard pregnancy was and “you have no idea how bad my back pain is”.... no you’re right I don’t and thank you for reminding me why fuckface.

Take care and I’m thinking of you and your little angel xx
