Fucking wooden floors in flats

Their lease might well say no wooden floors. If they do it often, go on the land registry website, put in their address and pay a few quid for a copy of it. If it says no wooden floors, complain to landlord.

If it doesn't say it, you can still complain about noise/nuisance to them and to landlord.

If they don't do it often, sympathy, it's awful being kept awake - hope the herd thundered off to bed and left you alone!

I have never seen a lease which allows wooden floors without landlords consent. I’ve err seen a lot of leases over the years

My housing association allow laminate flooring if you hold the old tenancy from 12 years ago. If you have the newer tenancy it is banned so do you know how long they have been above you?

I’m in Scotland. The buy-to-let above me has stripped floorboards. It’s been a very long 9 years. Will be selling next year.
