The big bird and teddy bear slippers are exactly the sort of thing I would buy a teenage daughter, but not at the price I’d imagine they go for on Nordstrom.

The Simone Rocha stuff looks awful with the fluffy slippers. I'm sure some of theitems could be styled to look quite interesting.

The problem with the granny nightgown and fluffy slippers thing is that, while it may feel playfully fashionable on a young, tall, thin model, I’d just look like I’d gone out in my incredibly frumpy nightclothes.

I'd look like the ghost of hungover Christmas past in that! (with more body hair and not as fragrant)

I'm currently wearing one of dh's m&s t-shirts which is not dissimilar to the original bargain dress. It even has a slight tear at the back (rougue washing machine was to blame).

The Alien Goddess one looks like a kid has drawn boobies on mummy's smart dress.
