This isn't a humblebrag or virtue signal or any other thing like that - I genuinely want to know if this is ok or insulting.
I'm pregnant and nearly immobile with SPD plus I'm asthmatic and getting over bronchitis. I decided that I'd sacrifice some of my Christmas treats and pay for a one-off cleaner which is costing me £90 via an agency.
My total budget for this was £100 so thought I'd maybe give her the whole £100 so she'd get a £10 tip.
She's done a really good job and I want to give her a bit extra but I really don't have more than that.
I don't have a cleaner normally so have no idea if this is ok - would your cleaner feel ok about that if you have one?
Sorry for such a boring question.
