Had my eye test end of November, reading glasses(first pair!) and new driving glasses(wasn't a huge change and old ones would probably been fine for a while longer legally but I had noticed the change and felt better getting new ones). They should have been ready for 11/12 but when I went in 2 days later only the reading ones were, the distance lenses had been delayed due to the bad weather, however when I went in today they were still not ready as one of the lenses has still not arrived.

I am not happy, if they were special lenses I could maybe understand, and have told them that if they are not ready in a week( 4 weeks after they were ordered) I will be putting in a complaint

It’s quite possible the order was rejected because something was wrong with the lenses, e.g they came in scratched and they had to be reordered. Either way, this should have been explained to you

They did something similar with my daughters glasses. She couldn't read the board at school. I phoned up and was very cross and they miraculously found them apparently sitting in a drawer. I think some branches are disorganised. I'm changing and going to an independent.

We left specsavers because of this. Also because we had up to 3 months wait each time my DD needed an eye test. We use boots opticians and they are miles better.

I switched branches as the service varies so much. I'd shop around next time.
