Quick poll regarding my DH

We have a 5 month old DD, DH has been working away for 2 weeks and I'm coming down with a cold.
DH was planning to play VR with a friend at 9.30 when baby has her moring nap BUT she has got up an hour later than usual so won't be ready to sleep. Do I
A) get up now and look after the baby in the bedroom
B) go back to sleep and leave them to it trusting that he won't be stupid and kick her by accident or something
C) tell him not to play then go down in an hour to make sure

All help us appreciated!

I think you flip this for your answer? What would you do if this was reversed & say had a friend coming for coffee at 9:30

But surely it's not for the OP to tell her DH what to do? Would people think it was ok if the DH started to dictate to the OP what she should do wrt the baby? Assuming the DH is already up with her, the OP is still in bed and he is responsible for the childcare at this point OP need do nothing. She's asleep at this point. What he does while he is looking after the baby is for him to deal with.

If the OP had an appointment at 9:30 and the DH was ill but came downstairs and said to the OP that she shouldn't keep the appointment or that he should take the baby upstairs for now or stay downstairs to ensure that the baby is safe people would be calling him controlling.

He is the baby's father. He is equally responsible for her, and from what I'm reading it doesn't appear that he has laid down an expectation that the OP take responsibility so that he can do gaming or whatever else it is he would have liked to do.

I guessed it meant virtual reality, but I don't know what it involves.

Good to hear that he is sensible.
