AnonymousToday2 · 18/12/2017 23:11

Think i must be being dense but why?

trulybadlydeeply · 18/12/2017 23:14

Say something about what?

scottishdiem · 18/12/2017 23:15

Jabberwocky (All mimsy were the borogoves - basically flimsy and miserable as a portmanteau.)?

If so, that is some specialist leap you are making?

Bebepoor · 18/12/2017 23:17

We have always used mimsy in this sense www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=mimsy

Sounds like a euphemism for somone who likes to go down on a lady to me if that's the direction your mind has wandered in OP. Grin

if not, I'll get my coat

Winosaurus · 18/12/2017 23:18

It sounds like a crude term to me 😂
“Hey sir, are you a mimzy snacker?”

I’m guessing I just have a filthy mind Blush

scottishdiem · 18/12/2017 23:19

Oh thats very old school.

thecolonelbumminganugget · 18/12/2017 23:19

X-post OP. We best both get our coats before we corrupt any fragile minds

purplemunkey · 18/12/2017 23:20

I've never heard mimsy used in that sense.

We had one of those high chairs, never crossed my mind that it was odd/inappropriate in any way!

It it a regional thing?

Winosaurus · 18/12/2017 23:21

The more I read it the funnier it gets!
