Well, just that basically. I think I want to split it three ways, one to a local homelessness charity, one to a charity helping women with obstetric fistula in sub Saharan Africa (this is where they are too far from an operating theatre while having obstructed labour, and the birth basically blows a hole between vagina and urinary works/rectum), and a charity working in Yemen. But for the latter it is all so political and I have heard bad things about some international aid charities who basically just end up complicit with warlords etc in order to ensure they can have access on the ground. How does one find out which charities are well run and keep to their principles but make sure the overwhelming majority of the donated money is going direct towards those in crisis. I definitely feel like the Yemen situation is threatening huge numbers of children but there is very little news about it, and hard to work out who is helping.
