To wish that more Xmas theatre productions were aimed at older children and teens

I know pantomimes are meant to be for the whole family, but most kids (and parents) have seen a bellyful of them by the time they're 10, and, let's face it, they can be a bit formulaic.

We live in greater London where, in theory, there are lots of alternative Christmas shows, for every budget, from cheap and cheerful amateur theatre companies to West End extravaganzas - but most seem to be aimed at the under-10s. Surely there must be a market for Christmas shows that would appeal to older children and teens?

And in case I've missed something in my extensive searchings - any recommendations?

There's the send up version of A Christmas Carol by Fitzrovia Radio Hour (comedy group) on in Leicester Sq this weekend and in soputh London at other times, not sure when.

Yanbu.
I've noticed the same thing. Pre-teens aren't offered much.
