and I didn't even think about it. I just naturally had all those things in my kitchen.....

Oh my god, I'm a hipster aren't I?

Help

Home bargains had pick rock salt ages ago. So that bit is ok.

The rest of your egg sandwich breakfast sounds fine apart from the very special bread.

The presence of glitter is a good sign I think (it depends upon why it is there & what has been made) but unfortunately the unusual bicycle is NOT.

TossDaily · 14/12/2017 10:44

Are you posting on a manual typewriter?

Are you available as an app?

Hoppinggreen · 14/12/2017 10:45

Sounds nice but is the avocado cold with a warm ( presumably poached) egg on top?
I’m a bit funny about mixing hot and cold food so not sure I wouid like it
But to get back to the point OP, I think you are in sever danger of hipsterness. Have a bacon butty ( in a non ironic) manner tomorrow and you might be ok

EvilDoctorBallerinaRoastDuck · 14/12/2017 10:47

Loving this. Xmas Grin

I don't even have one of those things in my kitchen. I had cheese on a bagel with black pepper and vinegar. We live in different worlds hooochy.

SaskiaRembrandtWasFramed · 14/12/2017 10:49

They sell pink rock salt in B&M, I think it's moved on from being a hipster and is now safe for everyone to have.

SaskiaRembrandtWasFramed · 14/12/2017 10:49

a hipster thing

extinctspecies · 14/12/2017 10:54

Yum. I had a similar breakfast at a posh B&B once.

More likely to have it for lunch though.

therealposieparker · 14/12/2017 10:55

Evil???

Black pepper and vinegar? What?

jay55 · 14/12/2017 10:58

Did you put butter in your single origin aeropress coffee?

MuseumOfCurry · 14/12/2017 11:00

Did you put butter in your single origin aeropress coffee?

Some fool tried to explain this to me last night. I was utterly revoted.

MoistCantaloupe · 14/12/2017 11:01

Please link your Instagram, I would like to see the picture of this #eggs #sourdough #brekkie #breakfast #avo #avocado #chilli #hashtag

JosBoys · 14/12/2017 11:02

I'm intrigued by the poster who mentioned almonds; avocado and maple syrup . . .

OP how many craft gins do you have in your home? That may tip the balance.

DiegoMadonna · 14/12/2017 11:03

To be fair, eggs and avocado on toast is genuinely nice! No idea why you'd put chili sauce on it though bleugh

DiegoMadonna · 14/12/2017 11:05

HoppingGreen I’m a bit funny about mixing hot and cold food so not sure I wouid like it

It's good if the avocado is room temperature.

cardibach · 14/12/2017 11:05

I think you might be in danger there, OP. Be a bit more mindful of your purchases for a bit (unless being mindful is also a danger zone).
I was a bit concerned about myself the other day. I accidentally lightly charred my pan fried asparagus when I left it unattended to put on my yoga pants. I think I recovered myself though.

hooochycoo · 14/12/2017 11:09

My name is not janet

I am not dressed as someone out of Paddington ( to my knowledge)

I did not post this on a typewriter

I am not available as an app

I did not photograph and instagram my breakfast

I do have some homemade fruit gin and two bottles of fancy gin

I don't like coffee, and have never heard of butter in coffee.

Do these all cancel each other out?

ZigZagandDustin · 14/12/2017 11:09

It's just FOOD! And it's pretty nice/tasty things. Do people really not cook nice things or are the majority of the population only at a bacon sandwich level? (Which are also gorgeous).

But seriously pink rock salt is cheap as chips, most houses have eggs and avocado is hardly unusual. The sourdough is harder to find but not that strange. People will spend £6 on a shite readymeal from tescos....

Doingthebattybat · 14/12/2017 11:10

You have been possessed. Exorcism is the only way out of this . If you ignore these worryIng behaviours you will find yourself replacing all your bags with fall raven kanken backpacks, eating off twigs and hanging out in cereal cafes. Get. Help. Now.

hooochycoo · 14/12/2017 11:10

I have never charted my asparagus whilst putting on my yoga pants.

Thank god for that

hooochycoo · 14/12/2017 11:12

I'm scared to eat a crisp, fishfinger or bacon sandwhich now incase I do it ironically. How would I know? Would I be able to tell?

OP posts:
astoundedgoat · 14/12/2017 11:12

Sounds like a completely reasonable (and delish) breakfast, but then right now I'm drinking pour-over coffee made in my V60 with beans from a friend's micro-roastery, that I ground myself, so...

SaskiaRembrandtWasFramed · 14/12/2017 11:13

I don't think unadulterated sourdough bread is particularly unusual, they sell it in my nearest Tesco local, so I'm guessing it's pretty mainstream now. The seaweed variety is probably a bit more 'specialised'.

bilbodog · 14/12/2017 11:13

You could be saved OP - you didnt have cauliflower 3 ways on the dish (watches too much masterchef).....

cardibach · 14/12/2017 11:13

Indeed hooochycoo I was most concerned. Since I’m now wearing very old pjs and a primary sweatshirt and have This Morning on while I recover from a work do I think I’ve got over it and am out of danger.

cardibach · 14/12/2017 11:14

Primark, not primary. I’d never fit in one of those.
