Cover of today's DM. So many people will believe what it says and that's a real danger to our democracy and future economy.

They have a strange, mercurial position on democracy.

I wish it had a warning stamp on it, in the same way packets of tobacco do!

It's a headline that will have come directly from the editor, Paul Dacre. He's a well-known euro-sceptic (and that's an understatement) and a very keen supporter of Brexit. He's also blinkered and completely overlooking the fact that 48% of those who voted didn't want to leave, so a system of checks and balances seems reasonable!

I've just finished reading this book on the DM. Very interesting and also a good insight into why they take this position on Europe. Also ironic considering that he's in receipt of hundreds of thousands of pounds of EU subsidy for his Scottish estate...

The scary thing is that millions will believe it. Well, my in-laws for starters!
