To wonder if I’ve become sensitive to a food?

I’ve lost 5 stone on SW since March this year, and have unintentionally pretty much cut out bread and pasta, despite almost living on it before I started SW.
I had a couple of slices of bread a couple of weeks ago, and despite not doing anything else out of the ordinary foodwise, amd having done more cardio than usual at the gym, the scales showed a gain that week (it disappeared along with some more the following week)
Today I had a bread roll at lunchtime, amd since I ate it my jeans have felt tighter and tighter as the afternoon has gone on, and I feel quite yucky.
I’m absolutely not jumping on a wheat or gluten free bandwagon, but AIBU to wonder if because I’ve pretty much cut it out of my diet, I’m having this strange reaction on the odd occasion I do eat it?
